茄子影院 celebrates and values equality of opportunity, the diversity of our learning community and the inclusion of all our learners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We welcome students of all different genders, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientations, faiths, ages and backgrounds, equally. We\u00a0seek to create a community that is as\u00a0diverse, vibrant and accessible as possible, where individual choices are respected, ensuring all learners feel safe and able to participate fully in college life.<\/p>\n

The college is\u00a0committed to ensuring that our students – as well as our staff and stakeholders – can study and work in environments\u00a0free from discrimination, harassment or victimisation; in which each individual is treated with respect and dignity, and is able to fulfil their potential.<\/p>\n

Our Campuses are accessible for wheelchair users with ramps and lifts situated throughout the college. We have assistive technology across all curriculum areas such as fixed and portable loop systems, and can supply written materials in different formats.<\/p>\n

We have a dedicated committee of staff and students working on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across the college. Definitions of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion<\/h5>\n\t\t\t

Equality:<\/strong>\u00a0Ensuring everybody has an equal opportunity, and is not treated differently or discriminated against because of their characteristics.<\/p>\n

Diversity:<\/strong>\u00a0Acknowledging the differences between people and groups of people within our community, and placing a positive value on those differences.<\/p>\n

Inclusion:<\/strong>\u00a0Embracing all people irrespective of race, gender, disability, medical or other need. Providing equal access and opportunities by removing barriers to enable everyone to be themselves and reach their full potential.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

All of our learners are expected to uphold our Community Code of Conduct as exemplified in the Learner Behaviour Policy (Community Code)<\/a> which has the underlying principles of Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe.<\/p>\n
